Media hour produces

Media Hour Produces is our new film production initiative. Begun in 2025, this program focuses on partnering with one artist per year on a feature film project. Media Hour takes on all production and postproduction roles for the project. With funds raised for a given film, we are also able to offer five additional film grants each year to emerging artists. Our 2026 film project is JEFFREY GIBSON TVSHKA, an experimental documentary about the artist - the first Indigenous artist to represent the United States at the 2024 Venice Biennial. We are currently in postproduction on this film and plan to release it in early 2027. Please check back for information about our upcoming granting cycle.
